I'd like to see him taken off and Meireles pulled into that role and bring on someone else on the wing in his place. He is playing badly and the yellow is not only a danger in terms of a red but will play on his mind when making tackles.

What are you talking about? He's being criticised for a misplaced pass which nearly gave way a goal, not for his last 5 games. Does a run of form grant a player freedom from such criticism?

He's been poor tonight.

And to be honest, the praise of him after the weekend was way over the top. If we can praise him for a good display, we can rightly expect to criticise him for being poor without being jumped on

Its not a big deal, but sensitive folk seem to think its a massive criticism. On the other hand his misplaced pass resulted in the ball in our net, ruled out for offside.

Decent first half from us but need to up the tempo in the second as Wigan there for the taking. Wigan offering nothing whatsoever in our box besides the one offside goal. Deserved lead at the half imo.

We've got very complacent after dominating the first 1/2 hour.

Wigan well on top now. Need to get the finger out. We could have been behind there.
