Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Finally decent bit of play to earn the corner. And who orchestrated it? Kuyt.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,522 ✭✭✭✭noodler

Couldn't say for certain from my shaky stream if Kuyt was the man offside there.

    F*ck off Poulson

In fairness he did just play 84 rather intense minutes against Chelsea on Sunday after coming back super quick from an injury.

Just wish it had've been N'Gog coming on for him.

If Rafa had made that change he would be hounded by the media. Horrible horrible choice by Hodgson.

Maxi is a sham of a man when it comes to defending.

    Cowardly stuff.

Everyone on the planet apart from Roy would know that was the substitution to make. FFS.

Roy baffles me at times, fcuking baffles me.

Poulson's first touch. 5 yard pass to a red shirt goes out for a throw.

Poulson.....no fu *k off Roy. That's a joke. Let's go for the win ffs.

WTF? Does this guy not learn, looks like both the positive tactics and the result from the Chelsea game was a blip.
Forget Souness, Roys making a name for himself here, purely for stability i'd keep him till the end of the season but hes got to go

    Konchesky.

What a defender, no one ever gets past him.

FFS Jova or Dave NOW! Has to be for Lucas really since Poulsen cant really be brought straight back off...(no matter how much i want him to be)

Man this ain't pretty at all Kelly having a cracker though

Fuking baffling decision taking off an attacker for a (****e) defensive midfielder in Poulson...

In fairness, we had to make some sort of change, we were getting battered.

Our midfield was getting the serious run around.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,743 ✭✭✭Revolution9

...maybe we should wait until the final whistle before telling Roy to f*ck off, Poulsen still has time to score the winner!

    this is embarrassing.

Oh dear me, just when we thought he knew what he was doing...:(

Turns out Chelsea was an abberation....

It's a sad state of affairs when you are watching one of the worst teams in the league thinking - i'd take 4/5 of their players in a heartbeat, and probably their manager too.

Ecclestone coming on instead of N'Gog ???????????????

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,587 ✭✭✭✭Dont be at yourself

well that is an easy way to nullify this Liverpool side, so one dimensional

This. Any team that has pressed us has had a field day against us. We look totally at sea at the moment.

I'm glad TBH. The pace of Ecclestone should be more useful for this match - especially as we're playing on the break!

    Oh balls - unlucky Stevie

    Don't believe this

    Ah Stevie.

Only thing I'll say is he had loads of time.

    Unlucky.

    Eccleston coming on:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Roy is having a fcuking laugh tonight. He should be sued for professional mis-practice or something.

    FFS Gerrard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Roy's biggest problem is that he's happy to go away to Wigan and settle for a point. Defending a draw at Wigan might be alright for Fulham, but not for Liverpool FC.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,910 ✭✭✭✭whatawaster

Kelly f*cking super. Wins the ball in the box and starts a counter attack

  • Registered Users Posts: 956 ✭✭✭internelligent

so many misplaced passes from Shelvey. I'd heard only good things about him so I hope it's just nerves.

Biggest indictment that this looks like a typical mid-table clash between 'decent' 'solid' teams.

Someone needs to have a word with him and let him know that these kind of results are not acceptable, everyone has a bad day but you've got to aim higher.
He's far to negitive for my liking

Roy has decimated our midfield in the second have. Fcuking destroyed it.

Maxi, Meireles & Kuyt off. Poulsen, Shelvey, Eccleston on.

    Jesus H christ.

Wigan beat us last year :o

I can't understand these tactics by Hodgson at all. Wigan are poor at the back and yet we seem to be happy with a draw. Go for the win ffs they are there for the taking.

And it wasn;t good enough then either. Whats your point? A draw at Wigan is hardly progress.

Maxi and Meireles were playing useless anyway. As was the midfield. As was the team. It's the attitude and mentality that is the problem

  • Registered Users Posts: 393 ✭✭PFL

We're getting battered can't hold the ball - taking 3pts tonight based on results would have seen us up to 5th FFS Roy ya auld b**cks

Calm down, course it's not ****ing progress.

    I didnt say it was

He has them playing about 15 yards too deep all the time.

I wasn't Benitez's number 1 fan but if he was to make one of those substitutions when were chasing a win against Wigan I would have slated him.
Noone with an ounce of sense would have thought that was the right thing to do
