You have me wanting to go to Winstons for coffee. I think the view from the Rivercourt is beautiful.

I love the view of the Castle from John's Bridge. Magic. A close second is the view from the top of Maudlin St. It could only be Kilkenny.

Here's two more images I have from that view. The first was a summer's day and the second was early in the morning in heavy fog.

    Beautiful...

I've often hoped that instead of the brewery adjoining the river we'd have something special like a theatre/arts/etc. sited on the bank, even staggered out over the river so that you could offer plenty of that view from your picture, one of the nicest in town.
And then of course have Kilkenny a real centre for Arts, Design, Craft...

Have a look at the Lowry in Manchester - http://www.thelowry.com/about-the-lowry/

You could do a similar idea in Kilkenny with a samoyed dog and Mr. Proper as the mascots ;)

If you were down John St and Rose Inn street with all the dog **** and High St will the horse **** you probably be thinking Kilkenny is that beautiful.

    Hi,

We've been shooting a webseries called 'Rent a Friend' around Kilkenny over the past few months as part of a competition for RTE.

We've been getting a lot of feedback on how great Kilkenny looks.

It would be great if you could have a look and cast your vote our direction

Was walking over John's Bridge last night. To look up and see the Castle lit up was magnificent. What a sight!
