Agreed - as in, it would have less of an effect on the person's confidence etc (I'd imagine so anyway).

    You imagine right. Sigh.:(

I am a silver fox. I used to dye, but I said **** it and stopped. Oh well.

Your pic in the KNY thread really didn't look like you had dyed hair. You should give URL some tips.

Started going silver in my early 20s and have been nearly all silver since my early 30s. Wouldn't mind having my black hair back if I'm totally honest but it hasn't ever really turned women off and dying your hair after a certain age (say mid 30s) is kinda vain imo. Plus you're only putting off the inevitable time where you'll suddenly change hair colour if you stop dyeing it.

Ah, I'm getting the ol' grey streaks in my hair and since it's longish enough they're so noticeable people love to tell me: "Jesus, you're going awful grey!!"................Jeez, thanks.

If it comes out decent enough I won't mind as I'd feel a bit naff dying my hair, like those cheesy alpha-male guys off the Just For Men ads. I've got pitch black hair so I don't want to lose it too quickly either, retain my youth :P

    Grey, bald... whatever. Shit happens.

As long as you're not ginger, you're OK.

    :(

I've noticed a few silver strands in the past year, I'm only 23 :( But if my hair goes a nice silver I'll keep it that way, I think it can look distinguished. Only after I hit 40/50, mind you.....don't want to be a silver-haired 30 year old.

Found my first one, that I can see anyway, this morning. Not bad for a 34 year old.

I won't be dyeing, ever. You see them oul 'fellas, and you just know they're lashing on the Grecian 2000, and it looks very undignified, I think

noticed the first few strands a few years ago. cut the hair in the week and aload fell to the floor, its all restricted to the sides for now though. have been thining from the crown for a couple of years as well.

I'd take grey hair any day over baldness. I'd look like BatBoy with my head.

I'm lucky my hair hasn't gone anywhere and it's bizzare to see some friends balding insanely fast.

I'm only 25, goddammit, I can't even grow facial hair properly on one side of my face. :(

ive been going grey since i was about 15 :( awful abuse over it. my dad is in his 50s and i nearly have the same amount of grey hair (he has very few greys for his age) so im guessing i got it from my mothers side :(

I'm also getting grey hairs in my head at 25. It sucks.

If I was fair/brown haired guy, I don't think I would mind much at all. But I always liked how my hair was so jet black, not anymore. :( I don't like the "shiney" look of it now.

There are much worse things in life though.
