    hi all,

sorry to drag up a thread, but wondering if anyone would know the best place to get Turanza ER300 tyres. (205/55R16 91H)

I know nothing about tyres, but don't want to buy rubbish ones either...

Ring around for the best price. Try the likes of Victory Tryes, Limerick Trye Centre, etc. Turanza are tyres made by Bridgestone which are a premium brand tyre so mention that when getting quotes. Size 205/55/R16 are a very common size so most places will stock them. Just avoid some of these places trying to sell you cheap Asian crap like Wanli, Suny or Triangles. They really are rubbish especially in the wet.

I had 205/55/R16 on my old Focus a few years back and got a pair of Vredestein Sportrac in Victory Tryes for around €80 each. From my experience the Vredesteins are just as good as the Bridgestones.

Big difference in price between both if buying online but just remember that you have to factor in the cost of having them fitted and balanced. Also it can be difficult trying to find a tyre centre that will fit tyres that you didn't buy from them.
