Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am not 100% sure what you are looking for but this is what I do.
I use e-mail notifications with gmail, I have thunderbird open with my Gmail accounts on the desktop, as soon I as I receive the e-mail I get a pop up notification of new mail. I use imap rather than pop server settings, so when I delete it in thunderbird it is also deleted online so the next time I log in to Gmail from another computer it is a mirror of what I have in thunderbird.

All in all I would say that time from the posting being made to me getting a notification is less than 15 seconds.

Im looking for something like the gmail notifier extension or chromed bird for twitter.

In browser or app from the taskbar.

Using a mail client is a bit cumbersome ;-)
