Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sorry to come in on your point but let's just remind ourselves about that non eventful time.

The 'massive fundraising campaign' was a group of fans going round a half empty Milltown with plastic buckets followed by an ingenious plan to round up 400 members of like mind and form the 400 Club. Problem was the buckets were empty and they couldn't find 400 members. :D

The 'media campaign' was a pitch invasion by some kids after the last game in Glenmalure Park followed by a march down O'Connell Street by about half a dozen blokes in Rovers tops carrying placards that said KRAM. They stopped every few hundred yards to write KRAM on the bus stops. :D

More than you throbbers have managed to do....

The Accounts body. They told me the figure of 1 million they received from Bohemian FC in 1988.

The FAI don't have an 'accounts body'.

Bohs don't have a 'legal department'.

I had you chalked down as a wind up, but the more you type, the more plausible it is that you are on or near the bohs board.

Bohs were on their arses in 1988, as they have been for most of their history. The idea that you had £1m in cash sitting around to buy back Dalyer is beyond laughable. Knock 4 zero's off and you are closer

    from the little that I know ;

money's been coming in steadily this week (thanks and keep it going)

Revenue were supposed to get paid today and Bohs are still here

Good stuff. Been reading that the players are refusing to even entertain the idea of cutting a deal over their their contracts. Isn't there a case to be made for making them redundant? If the position of 'full time professional footballer' no longer exists at the club, could they just pay them off with statutory redundancy?

I've heard you have fallen a bit short of the 105k figure due to Revenue today but are hopeful that paying off the majority due will buy you time to clear the rest. Players are playing hardball with regard to cancelling their contracts. Also Bohs are up in court for non payment of rates on Dec 13th. Critical few weeks ahead.

    Both above are true

Bohs claim is to be one of the founders and only ever present member of the League never relegated since the start.

Shels are the other ever present member.

Actually that bit isn't true. We were suspended by the FAI for a year in the 1930s from all football. Ended up out of the LoI for two years.

    Well we're still alive anyway

    http://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/2010/1120/bohemians.html

Bohemians have confirmed they have made a payment to the Revenue Commissioners and are in negotiations on a new schedule of further payments.

The Gypsies have also revealed they are still in talks with their players over outstanding contracts in a bid to reach a pay-off deal with their top earners.

Bohs are continuing an appeal to supporters to lend money to the club that will be repaid on the sale of Dalymount Park as the club tackle their huge debts.

Bohemians need to raise €300,000 through the public appeal to be certain of securing a license to play in the Airtricity League next season.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

What? No developer has ever taken over Bohs. Bohs are and always have been a club owned by it's members.
