Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

...just disappeared. Turned it on today, and noticed i wasn't automatically signed in. Tried to, and it just gives the option to sign in to one of the other 3 profiles on the hdd. Tried to recover but gives me an error saying the hdd isn't connected properly or theres not enough room.

Reseated the hdd, checked the memory and they're both fine but still no profile.

Searched the 'net and came up with this..... http://www.eurogamer.net/forum_thread_posts.php?thread_id=116811 which is the exact same problem. Thankfully this persons problem just resolved itself, but its no guarantee it will happen to me.

    Any ideas lads (and ladies)?

Try clearing the cache on the xbox and then do a recovery. To clear the cache, go to the system settings and then memory, should be an option there or within another option there.

I had a similar enough issue when I had my profile on a USB key and there was a power cut while I was playing a game. When power was back the profile was no longer recognised. Attempted to recover to HDD and was getting a similar problem to you. In my case I had to delete the profile from the USB key and then it was allowing me to recover. Not exactly the same as you but similar.

Sorry, I completely forgot about updating this.

Went into system settings, then memory, then profiles. It showed my main profile as being corrupted, and all the others were grand. I deleted the corrupted one then it allowed me to recover it as normal.
