Xtra-Vision Online Rental service

Hi there, I am a Commerce student doing a project on market research project on Xtra-Vision with the view of them bringing out an Online rental service such as the new ones out there like Screenclick.ie and Lovefilm.com.

Do you think Xtra-Vision would be successful if they were to launch a rental website service such as this?

Or maybe to provide a delievery service where the customer could ring Xtra-Vision and have a dvd or game delivered to them?

We used to use screenclick for 1 year or so but didn't find it good as, the choice of movies was pretty bad and they don't send the next one on the list until the last one has been returned so can be pretty slow and not good value so we decided to go back to xtra vision as we were still using it anyway.
I like the social aspect of going to xtra vision with my boyfriend and picking a film together as opposed to picking one online and getting it delivered.
It could be useful if I was sick and couldn't go to xtra vision myself to have the delivery service but I wouldn't use the online service myself.

The video rental business is a dead man walking. Why order an overpriced rental online when you can just download it for free in a matter of minutes as thousands upon thousands of Irish people do these days. Chartbusters has already folded, and the rest will fold over the next few years. €5+ for a new release rental is a ridiculous price in this day and age when you can go out and buy a movie DVD for the same (or less) and with highbroadband speeds letting people download whatever they before the film even becomes available in the rental shops.

Do you think there is a market for Xtra-Vision to bring out a Dvd delivery service where a customer can ring or order online and the Dvd would be delivered to your door within the hour?
