Does anybody know what happened to that massive banner with the picture of the girl that was hanging at the flour mills where the advertisement for the Tall Ships race is now?
    Thanks.

But what did they do with the old poster? I'd bet it would make a great paper aeroplane.

I'm so glad they got rid of it. It was only adding to the list of the number of big dirty eye sores on that side of the river. I'm actually surprised the K-team ejits haven't gone along and put a big flag or slogan on the mill yet.
No idea what they did to the actual banner though. Recycled it hopefully.

It was much better than the dull tall ships poster thats there now.

What was that poster for anyway?

It was part of an exhibition of pieces put up in various places around the city centre.

It was a Gottfried Helnwein picture, and I don't know what he does with the canvas after, presumably keeps them for other exhibitions if they're still usable.

I'm surprised people here don't seem to like it, I thought it was striking and beautiful, and much better than a blank wall or advertising.

It's in a warehouse for sale, it will end up as a tarpaulin for several trucks.

Is it actually for sale? and if so, do you know where?
I would be interested to find out.

    Thanks.
