Dog wont go into kennell

Hi all, My daughters dog (male 3 yrs old) has suddenly stopped going into his kennel and sits out in the rain yet when we try to persude him to go into the kennel he goes in and comes back out. The kennell is a hard plastic typy that comes in 2 halves. We bought new "Pet Bedding" for it and scrubbed the inside just incase…

Hi all, My daughters dog (male 3 yrs old) has suddenly stopped going into his kennel and sits out in the rain yet when we try to persude him to go into the kennel he goes in and comes back out.
The kennell is a hard plastic typy that comes in 2 halves. We bought new "Pet Bedding" for it and scrubbed the inside just incase a something got in like a cat and put its scent inside, but to no avail he still wont go inside and sat inthe rain. Any ideas what it might be?
