Hi I just upgraded to Windows 7 and downloaded JDK and Textpad and all working fine however when I start coding the colours on the text don't change.. i.e when you "class" and declare something all text stays black. IT will compile and show me my errors but is there anything i can do to fix this as it's rather annoying and was working fine previously.

    Thanks.

hey, if its a fresh install of Textpad, I believe you have to "turn on" text highlighting first.

    In textpad:
Configure >> Preferences >> Document Classes >> Java

on here, add *.java to the list of "Files in class Java".

    Then restart textpad.

    Hope this helps!

I gave that a go but everything was already set up fine.
That was in the 5.4 version, which is only out recently.

I have downloaded the 4.7 version that's working fine so ill stick to that for now.
