Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I guess his stats must take a hit when played out of position.

We have a great youngster on the Bench(Brumma) , who should be there instead of him , he gets drawn in and forgets him man every time , good few balls have slipped by him .

Typical crap from a ref...clearly that was a red, if it was the other way round, the ref would have the red card out straight away!Sunderland well on top keep it up lads!

    Lovely play by Welbeck there.

If he keeps this up, he'll be worth a few bob in the transfer window!

    Typical United supporting ref

If he supported United do you not think he would've given the red card?

I'm just making a joke, if that happened at Old Trafford, we'd have 2 pages of crying.

    no more than Sunderland deserved

    Oh come on Sunderland! YEYYYYESSSSSS!!!!!!

It's the least they deserve. Welbeck tackling like a man possessed!

That was far too easy to walk through the defence like that!

    COME ONNNNN SUNDERLAND!!

Super Stuff from Sunderland!...Cech is making some saves too btw!Chelsea all over the shop

Don't worry, 1-0 down and still have 11 men on the pitch, they'll still come back and win.

Cech madking some stunnig saves here.

This shouldnt be surprising to anybody . .

People have been killed saying how poor Man United (rightly) have looked this season, but Chelsea havent been far behind in many games.

I have to say that Cech has looked superb in the last few games. After his head accident it took him a long time to get back his confidence and he looked very dodgy, but he finally looks like the quality keeper we know he is capable of being.

I expect Chelsea to hit back in the second half, but people should stop writing this league off . .

Chelsea are lucky to be only one down here.

Great performance from Sunderland so far.

Just after turning on the match for the last 5 minutes. Chelsea are shocking. The game should be already over going buy the amount of chances Sunderland have had.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,908 ✭✭✭Daysha

Lol at Sky creaming themselves at that goal. The defence was shocking.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,588 ✭✭✭daithijjj

Ivanovic might aswel be the lone centre back, ferreira is hopeless.

Stunning goal and fully deserved lead for Sunderland.

Cech has entirely kept Chelsea in this.

Just hope Sunderland keep this up. Chelsea will score.

I fully expect Chelsea to come back and win this, but they really have lost all momentum. United and Arsenal should be confident.

Its the exact same as every other game involving a "big club" take nani / Wes brown yesterday for example....

Ah sweet jesus! How the fúck was he allowed to run so into chelsea 6 yard box without even a sniff of a tackle, absolutely ridiculous defending, we really really do deserve to be getting beat here, our defense have been terrible m been caught flatfooted god knows how many times in the first half!!!!!

Still a good kicking in the dressing room at half time, still fancy us to win it somehow, keep the faith!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 21,235 ✭✭✭✭flahavaj

Fully expect Chelsea to go through he gears and still win this.

Wellbeck has played well if he played like this all the time he'd never have been loaned out.

What I find funny is that flicking between the EPL game and the Fai cup final shows the differance in entertainment value. The level of quality is of course evident, but the pace is no less frenetic and the game is more entertaining.

Chelsea are absolute muck. Something needs to change.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Now that you mention it, who was it that had a fanny attack when Bruce bought Gyan? The poster claimed it was a panic buy despite the fact that Bruce had said they had their eye on him for a while.

Yeah just hope Bruce starts playing him and Bent together when Bent comes back, at home anyways.
