Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Still nervously awaiting the Chelsea onslaught. They never lose at home.

It may not be the league but I'm still proud of our 4-3 victory in the Carling Cup.

Wellbeck's looking like a completely different player then the lad I saw at Utd a season or so ago

I'm not watching this game but is it true to say Chelsea are being exposed by injuries here or are they just playing badly?

Chelsea are painful to watch. Wish I had stuck a fiver on Sunderland earlier on who were 12/1 in Paddy Power.

Maybe Essien could have made a difference for Chelsea, but Sunderlands passing is very good.

Their midfield is being overrun. Their defence is too slow. Ferrerieriereia (spelling) is being caught out big time.

Bit of both, and Sunderland are also playing well.

I can see Chelsea grabbing a goal and then Sunderland will lose all faith in getting a third and it will be backs against the wall time!!Altough Chelsea's defence looks very unsettled

Really can't see it. Running out of ideas. Everything in the final third hasn't been working for Chelsea at all.

Don't get me wrong - Chelsea have been beyond poor, just think they'll nick a draw like Utd did against Villa yesterday.

    Sunderland are getting tired now.

when did UTD score their first goal? How long is gone in the chelsea game now? i still have faith we will get 1 then they will crumble (fingers crossed)

chelsea have been woofull so far, cannot understnad why he brought Malouda off? puzzling decision!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,126 ✭✭✭talla10

If Chelsea can nick one i reckon Sunderland will get nervous and make mistakes but at 2-0 it looks comfortable for Sunderland just dont give away dangerous free kick or a penalty please!!!

can Chelsea do what Utd invariably do?

will we see the difference between Ferguson's match psychology, and everyone else's?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

What an absolute waste of a counter attack. Typifies Chelsea's day really. Just not good enough. I can't see them doing what Manchester United did yesterday.

Sunderland have been very well organised.

    From BBC
The last time they came back from two goals down in the Premier League was on Boxing Day 2007, a 4-4 vs Aston Villa."

OHH Hard luck Cech didnt know where that was going!!

As much as I hate them..... Fair play to Sunderland. Playing out of their skin. Closing down has been immense. Chelsea being bullied. Not used to this really.

Sunderland switching to a 4-5-1 now? I know I would. They've outplayed Chelsea in midfield this afternoon.
