    Just a query - I have two O2 accounts (one for mobile one for broadband) each have seperate mobile numbers and Im entitled to 2 upgrades at the lowest discount level - I was wondering is it possible to get 1 upgraded phone (using the upgrade on my broadband account and be able give the phone away to my mate) ie is the phone or is the phone for use with o2 only

    Im not sure what your looking for?

    The phone you get will most likely be locked to o2 yes, so its needs an o2 sim card to make calls/send texts. The silver discount also is very little in actual discount terms, and you will be signing yourself back up to a full term contract
