Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sign on open for round 4.... this is the final round in this years series... :( Still some races to look forward to after this one though. The race in Rostrevor is always a good one hosted by Newery Wheelers and just over an hour from Dublin. In December then we've two races being run by Bikepure to feed our cross fix till the champs in January. More info to follow on these events.

Pre reg for the final round at http://mtbireland.com/cyclocross All the same stuff applies as before..limited to 75 riders, Course is in Tymon Park and race starts at midday. Pre reg closes this Friday at 1pm....

We're planning on having a night out this Saturday to celebrate the final round of this years Steven's Supercross cup. The venue will most likely be Solas bar on Wexford street in Dublin (because they sell Belgian beer)... Everyone with an interest in cross is invited. Will be putting a simple form online to get some idea of numbers as we will be organising some food and reserving space in the bar. Just a few beers a chance to look back at the four races and make our excuses as to why we didn't win the series..!!! Will post the link soon so anyone interested can let us know if they are coming...

    **Edit**

I've put a really simple form up on http://mtbireland.com/cyclocross just so we have some idea of numbers so we can order some food... Would be great to see everyone out after all the cross sessions and the well attended races....

A big thanks to all the riders for supporting the series...and a big well done to you for taking part. Cyclocross has gone to a new level here in Ireland. Next year we are planning even bigger events.

    Don't forget Chimay's in Solas later... !!!

Thanks to Dave and everyone else involved in putting on this series and todays race was the most fun of all. Great video of Robin too - was he holding back so we had some riders in front to watch? It made it more interesting to see the lines of Joe and the other couple of riders early on.
    Cheers again and Thanks!

The grumpiness for the lack of my lighting hardware was soon replaced with smile watching the race - the spectator value of these events is phenomenal. Well done everyone!

Some pics I could salvage, but not very satisfied frown.gif

Great race folks, missing the series already. Some super tight racing. Lost the front wheel on the 3rd lap and crashed out hard. Went from top 15 - 30th. Lap was only 30 seconds slower. You just gotta get it all right to do well.

Hats off again to Dave (MTBireland) and all involved from Team WORC/IMBRC/WAG's etc for once again running a great series.

Overall thanks to us. The riders. People have stepped up, bought cross bikes, and are finally starting to understand that CX is probably one of the best things you can do on a bike.

Bring on next month, split races, and a chance to get the field up to over 100.

Country cross is dead. Long may it stay so. Long love Cyclocross.
