We are in Charlesland Grove and the pump for the hot water upstairs would wake people in Cork. We have two small children so we want to get a switch put on the pump so that Hubbie can shower in the morning without waking the whole house. Has anyone fitted one? If so can you recommend someone who might be able to do it for us?

    Thanks
    M

We put an isolator switch on ours. The slower had a slow trickle and every time it built up, the pump would kick in, waking everybody. Irish solution to Irish problem. Stops the noise at night but shower not usable withou the pump.

We had a plumber make it so the pump only went on for showers, and not the taps, which was ridiculous. There's enough pressure for the taps without the pump.
