Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hit something hard last night under bridge at Noth Strand. Freaking out cos similar caused a puncture in same spot few weeks ago. Nothing happened so sped up, going through lights at Fairview, tyre deflated completely. Took a awhile to safely slow down and stop, was basically riding on rim and it kept slipping away from me. 5 pinches I had to fix. Would I be right in thinking these would have been caused by riding on a deflated tube?

Sounds about right. You can verify by having a look at the shape of the puncture: slits = pinch puncture.
Oh and don't cycle of over potholes etc, even if the pressure in the tires is ok, you will still run a major risk of puncturing.

Thanks, yeah they're all snakebites. Pothole caught me off guard completely. Have terrible eyesight in the dark. I'll be going slower from now on.
