Eircom DSL Filter

Hi all, Just wondering if a fax machine can / should work ok when plugged into the phone side output of a Eircom DSL filter or if the filter should be completely bypassed when using a fax. Thanks in advance.

Fax should be filtered. It uses the voice frequencies so it needs to be filtered like a normal handset.
