Changing name on an account

    hi,

    My esb bill is currently in my maiden name - what do i have to do to change this? i have tried to log in to the account online section, but the name here is just my husbands, while the bill comes to both of us.

    Hi jellybeans22,

    If you PM me your account details I will look into this for you.

    Generally speaking, when there are two names on an account and a change of surname is required, confirmation must be received from both account holders. This can be done via email, or you can ring and speak to an agent on 1850 372 372.

    Alternatively, if your husband also has a boards' username he too can PM me and we can sort it out that way; whichever is most convenient.
