Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's so nice to have a ball player in Keith Fahey. His passing intelligence is a million years ahead of Greens.

And he can hit a volley!

Wow. Crazy Prices for a mickey mouse friendly. A few €15 tickets would of made sense.

I've never seen a toilet bowl shaped swimming pool but if that's your kinda thing!

If it was full, the sound wouldn't be so reverberant.

Jaysus, the average age of the crowd must be 10 judging by the sound of the crowd shouting "Ireland" there!

How many at this? Had three people ring me up offering me tickets at a discount, last fella for nothing. I politely declined.

For all the 'toilet bowl' and 'swimming pool' comments, have you ever been there?

I've been three times now - it's a great experience - I've brought my 8yr with me each time and he continues to be in awe of the stadium, so perhaps that's a factor.

I agree that the tickets are way overpriced, but sunday's match was great value and no matter what the result, it was well worth the cost.

My son is there tonight (with his uncle) and I can tell you now, that him seeing Paki Bonner, Trapatoni and Duff etc in real life, was well worth 40euro. Just my twohapence worth.

No, but it does look like a toilet bowl and it does sound like a swimming pool.

Never said I didn't like it. I love the colours of it. I think it looks excellent.

I have been there. I spent half my time in Ringsend. It's an OK stadium. I don't like the bowl effect.

Damn residents and needing light

Its unfair to say it's an 'ok' venue - though perhaps it's your own opinion so fair enough.

I've been to Croker, Landsdowne, Old Trafford and Heisel (sp?) in Brussels - seriously think the Aviva rates well up there with the best of them.

Like I said, I see it from an 8yr olds eyes, so perhaps I'm biased...but even from my own perspective, it's a great venue. WAY to expensive, particularly for games like tonight...but that's a whole other thread:rolleyes:

Why would he bring Mcgeady on and leave Coleman on the bench? Disgusted.

And another f*ckin winger coming on ahead of him
