I actually can not believe Coleman hasnt got a run in this game. Joke.

Pathetic stuff out of the management.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,825 ✭✭✭Mikeyt086

Whats worse is the players that have been playing instead of Coleman, ie. Lawrence, Duff, McGeady and now Hunt, Trapattoni knows exactly what they can offer the team, there is NO POINT in playing them in a match like this.

Really pisses me off. If your not going to try new players, especially the most exciting young Irish player for years, whats the bloody point in this match at all?

Even if Coleman comes on now, its not enough time. He should have been given half an hour at least. Imo he should have started. I have so much respect for Trap as a manager, but some of his decisions just leave me shaking me head in disbelief.

Trapps is making a right bollíx out of Coleman, he'll give him 10 mins, a pure joke. Bring back Mick McCarthy:D

Precisely. If I was Coleman I'd be bullin right now.

Looks like Coleman wont be playing for Ireland for a while. If he doesnt play him in a meaningless match like this then there is no hope he will play him in a qualifier. 2-1, prob send him on now - ridiculous

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,973 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

    Crap.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,528 ✭✭✭dcr22B

It's a totally fecking joke TBH. He's the most in-form Irish player at the moment yet he can't even make a substitute appearance for a second string team.

Losing 2-1 now, good enough for the stubborn Italian

Crap attendance for a crap team.

    Boring.

+ a million. No matter what anyone says, he has brought us nowhere, shows no interest, and just wants to play it safe. Not once did i see him at a premier league match. Plus i bet his wages are collosal. Turns me off supporting ireland

Really wish this match was on RTE for Dunphy :D:D:D

It must be awful disheartening for Coleman. Trapps takes a chance on that Donkey Green and starts him in a competitive game and Coleman doesn't get a look in.

The sooner we get shot of that useless Italian d1ck the better.

I'd be sickened if I'd payed in to this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

Gamst Pedersen should have gotten MoM

I would love if we went the Blackpool approach and just attack other teams. We dont have enough quality to beat the better teams even when we use this ultra-defensive style we play so why not just go for it. We have 2 talented wingers in McGeady and Coleman and boy it would be entertaining. Who knows, we might actually beat teams and qualify for a competition because we are going nowhere now.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,329 ✭✭✭Manc-Red

He brings the most exciting prospect for a few years to the panel, promising the Irish public a look at him....

What does he do - Feck all.

    Trap out.

Ah McGeady, i'll never get tired of your step overs & losing the ball every time.

No Coleman says it all, no ambition & no changes.

    Bollix.

Sooner the better this clown is gone. I'd say he was delighted McCarthy was injured, imagine having to play a promising gifted youngster.

    What is McGeady?

If he was food mixer, he would have no handle, no blades, no engine, no plug, and no plastic casing.

Lucky for cooks out there he is not a food mixer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,692 ✭✭✭✭OPENROAD

Bring back Stan the gaffer imo

At least he'd take a fecking gamble no matter how ill advised.

Papers will be fun in the morning!

NEwstalk is interesting now. They wouldn't read out the attendance because it was too embaressing to reveal. Imagine paying €55 for that...

If that ever happened I'd never watch Ireland as long as he was in charge.

Anyone got an accurate attendance figure tonight??

The really could have had that match in the RDS lmao

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,101 ✭✭✭NUTZZ

Same ole, same ole. All over the game for the most, and then sunk by one at the end. A team afraid to attack

There is no defense for not playing Seamus Coleman. The result means sweet f all, I doubt anyone cares about that, but Coleman sitting on the bench is mind boggling. Give him a chance to show what he can do? No, lets put McGeady on again. Inexcusable.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,648 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

I can't wait until the IMF come in and take over this team,

there is an International Management Fund that goes hand in hand with the monetary one right?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,536 ✭✭✭Dolph Starbeam

Horrible horrible game, McGeady was poor enough but as usual gets all the abuse, very few players did anything good so why people again only point the finger at McGeady i will never know, again i agree he played poorly but he was not the only one

I think i'm more disappointed about Wilson and Coleman not getting a run-out than i am about the defeat.
