Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have had one of these pumps for almost a year and no problems at all. Great value for money. I normally don't pump tyres beyond 120 psi so don't really know if you'll get up to 160 but have used once on brother's bike up to 140.

I bought that exact model last september (2010) and I had to throw it out as it destroyed several tubes.

The plastic where you put the presta value is not strong enough and tends to bend the valve.

Would spend an extra tenner and buy one in a cycle shop

I destroyed two tubes in the process

Yeah I read it came with a crappy plastic valve for presta, however I have one of these:

This should eliminate the problem you were having, yeah?

    Does the gauge still work?

Read one review that it was all over the place and pretty much useless..maybe that was a faulty one though, not sure?

    Thanks

if you are around the bicycle shop on Parnell St. an extra 15 quid will get you...

I bought a similar 20yoyo product from the catalogue shop and the rubber seal ony lasted a few weeks. Same issue of wrecking valves.

got a bbb one in the local bike shop for 25 quid seems to work fine (better than the 2 broken ones in the shed).

Gauge still works fine. I think some track-pumps take a bit getting used to and often lead to frustration on the part of the user but after initial teething problems I have no complaints re the model in question.
