Insulated carpet underlay,is there such a thing?

Im getting new carpets put down next week,and am wondering if there is insulated/thermal underlay that you buy and put down,to stop cold draughts commming up through the floor boards? Is there anything out there on the market that can be used as a thermal/insulated underlay for carpets?? Thanks.:)
