Hi Guys, i've got a fujitsu siemens scaleo P, which i've recently changed the RAM in. It was working no problems for a few weeks, however gave a blue screen of death error "APC Index Mismatch"

Anyways, i tried reseating the RAM, rebooted, and it bluescreened again.

I tried switching it on, but it just gives this 8 error beep from now on.

Any ideas? I dont want you lot to tell me my graphics card is ****ed!! :D

It would be an awful coincidence that it would burn at the same time im changing ram

Can you put the original ram back in and see if this happens?

That beep code is indeed a RAM error. Try the original RAM if you can, if that doesn't work then it could be a motherboard issue.
