I read on the Rubber Bandits Facebook page, that Bunsen, the burger place is going in there.

Yeah another Italian is welcome, at least we're not getting another kebab shop! Not a fan of Bella but I really do like La Piccola and La Cucina!

New Indian restaurant in Hartstonge Street called the Clay Oven, in the old Kennedy O'Briens/Leddins. Anyone know if it's actually open yet?

I know it's not a good barometer but I love the name, I'd be inclined to give it a go for that reason alone.

Supposedly with a monorail across to Keanes. There will be a burrito bar half way, unsure of the opening hours though...

I've been told that they're putting a lot of money in to the interior and that it should be 'spectacular'. Don't know if that's the actual case though, and I haven't passed down Hartstonge Street in an age. So I'm eager to see it, and taste the food of course :D

They are doing kebabs, pizza and cod/chips as well. I'll give them 3 months.

Enough said. There's enough of those establishments around. I was given the impression that this was going to be a decent sit-in restaurant, which I'd imagine it would need to be to do well in that location. Ah well! :o

    Great. Another Pakistani run frankenrestaurant.

I live in the area. It's becoming a bit like down town Karachi. The residential rents are generally quite low so a lot of the Pakistani immigrants are taking advantage and moving in.
