It's in Clare anyhow so surely this is the wrong thread for it.

    And the university.

And the Radisson whilst we're at it.

There won't be planning applied for by any large supermarket in that area, nor would it be granted as there isn't ample parking nor a sufficient traffic management plan. Also I know people would object anyway.

No it's not. It's known as West Clare. Just because Limerick decamp there for the summer and talk incessantly about how much they miss Limerick doesn't make it Limerick.

A new menswear store opening in Cathedral Place, called Suits You. Great to see those units being filled. They've been empty for years.

    Strange spot . . . . .

Is it not quite close to the new Court buildings?
Could be a very astute location!
Hire out or sell a few suits a week to the usually track suited! ;)

I see that there's work going on in the unit at the corner William St and Little Catherine St. A planning search says that Pat O'Connor is putting a new butchers shop in there and putting three one bed apartments overhead.

Good to see a local business going in there, and accommodation too.

They'll be carrying out a fairly extensive conservation job on the building too. It was converted from a pub around 12 years ago but didn't have the greatest luck with occupiers. Some other Butchers in the vicinity appealed the planning permission to An Bord Pleana but it was thrown out.

Yes. There's a Butcher moving down from Upper William Street. If only someone would take over the former Greene's cafe now.

They've been hard at it all year. Should be back open any day now. It must be an amazing job altogether.
