It's really fab. Set to open on Friday. I know a few of the regulars there who are a bit worried they won't be let in now it's gone all fancy!

You're kidding. I've never known a publican yet that refuse your money unless you were dead on the floor, even at that they would take the money off you.

The Leader is reporting that the 4 stories of offices above the KBC bank on O'Connell St have been let. No word on the tenant yet, but apparently an announcement is due in the next few days.

PWC or Deloitte so is my guess. Business is booming for auditors of late. EY moved into those new bigger offices by howley's quay last year.

Looks like Finns is making a comeback to 62 William Street. The sign is up. Presuming it'll be bar and grill like it was previously. It closed back in 2006. Before that it was Flannerys pub.

Was driving past the Chicken Hut a few weeks ago when the grease/oil company was delivering the big tubs. Gagging now even thinking about it 😂

Both posts above reported. I expect permabans for the sheer blasphemy.

The real sign of quality is if the exterior of the extractor fan has little stalactites of grease dripping off it.

Great to hear this. Any business will do well there as it's a busy spot. Heard that The Samaritans could be using it for a drop in service but that was while ago now.

Earlier today I saw a couple of workmen inside the door of the Sarsfield Bar, with a van from Pallasgreen Refrigeration outside.
