Somewhere for night out on a wednesday

Hey a few of us from work are heading out after the dogs on Wednesday, sadly we are all fairly clueless as into what's open late and where would be crowded, thinking dame lane pubs or harcourt st. Does anybody have any suggestions on where would be fairly mixed crowd wise and full enough not mad busy. Thanks in advance
