How long would the waiting time usually be before you are put onto the white list and given the IP?

I can understand having to regulate who can join and who can't , to prevent over-crowding, but the requirements are fairly strict

You're doing a good job hitman, keeping the new people in order.
All the threads of spam like "Hi im new add me to the server please" are starting to piss me off :mad:
I know it'll be good for the server but all the bumping of old threads that no one even reads anymore is just a pile of spam for the people to get to 25 posts.
Whats the bet that once they get to 25 posts and once they get onto the server they're gonna **** off from boards and never come back?

Hey lads, sorry for the delay. Quick update!

- The MC Authentication login servers are currently down so nobody can actually join about 90% of all the servers available anyway!
- Thanks for all the compliments of the Minecraft server, once you're in I'm sure you can appreciate and contribute to the fantastic work being done here already.
- I'll update you in due course on the status of the obligatory 25 posts. Those rules were instated on the basis that it was a small community, but seeing as that rule has basically gone out the window!
