Hello Looking to buy a phone from the UK I am on vodafone here in ireland Some of the phones I am looking at are "locked to Vodafone" Because I am on Vodafone here also, would it work here in Ireland or only on the UK vodafone network ?

No it will only work on Vodafone UK.
