Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I do not usually start threads, much less threads with hyperbole, but this Saturday truly is an awesome day of football

    1pm Arsenal V Spurs Sky
    3pm Manyoo V Wigan Setanta
    5.30pm Valencia Vs Villareal Sky
7pm Almeria Vs Barcelona Sky / 7.45pm AC Milan Vs Fiorentina Setanta
9pm Real Madrid Vs Atletic Bilbao Sky

Oh to have no plans. Should catch 3 of them anyway.

Bolton v Newcastle is the one to watch at 3pm for me.

    United will steam roll Wigan.

I'm away for the weekend (in England) with my wife (sans kids) and will have to occupy myself all day Saturday while she does family stuff.

Now: Sightseeing or Super Saturday? :pac:

Ireland v All Blacks @ 5.30pm too if you fancy watching one steamrolling after another [Man Utd - Wigwam being the first].

Arsenal v Spurs should be good but the rest aren't that great in fairness. Prob watch the rugger at 5.30. I'm goin to the Madrid game myself so heres hoping for a Bilbao victory though can see this being a bit of a hammering as are likely the Man U and Barca games.

Real Vs Bilbao is almost always a good game as is Valencia Villareal. Barca usually struggle at Almeria as well.

I just chose the ManYoo game as it seems to be the only one on "regular" tv.

I'm going to watch Birmingham v Chelsea.
Looks a better bet than Manu v Wigan

Bilbao will get up to their usual honourable defeat at the Bernabeu..:P

Liverpool at 5:30 for me and will probably have the rugby on aswell. The betfair chase at haydock is also on saturday and not to be missed!!

Liverpool will cruise against a poor Ammers side tbh even without Stevie G to the rescue.

    I'm dreading it.

We're probably the only team worse than you in the league at the moment, you'll be fine. Added to fact that we haven't won in Anfield sicne the 50's or 60's and it's not looking great for us...

Its not so much the result really as the mess that the performance will inevitably be.

And I'm aware that the result is all that matters in the greater scheme of things but my god our general play is so so so dour.

I think we can both agree that it certainly won't be a classic anyway...

I wouldn't rule it out completely; FA Cup Final of a fews years yonder ring any bells? ;)

No Gerrard, no Lucas for Liverpool, Poulsen to start so. The man is beyond terrible, my money is on West Ham.

I'm really looking forward to Arsenal V Spurs, I'll probably try to stream the United game too, I except them to comfortably win.... so, they probably wont, it'll finish 2-2 :)

I'd rather stick forks in my eyes than watch Rugby.
