how much should a removal van cost?

Im moving apartments, the new one is about a ten minute drive away, we don't have any furniture to move, just mainly black bags and a few boxes of stuff. I got a quote of 70euro for the first hour. Just wondoring is that normal or can anyone recommend someone cheaper? Thanks

Depending on how many runs you need to do, you could just book a taxi and specifically ask for a people-carrier. They'll give you a moving rate, which is something like twenty euro plus whatever is on the meter when you get there. Give these guys a ring, see what they'll quote you.
