if only someone in Ff would come forward and fall on their sword and say we ****ed up. i'm sorry. I'd be more likely to vote for that guy if any one of them did that. Theyve been lying to themselves and us all this time but especially the last 2 weeks
'we wont need a bailout, we have plenty of money'
'we wont need a bailout, we have plenty of money'
'we wont need a bailout, we have plenty of money'
'we wont need a bailout, we have plenty of money'
'we wont need a bailout, we have plenty of money'

'turns out we will be taking a bailout'

    what a crock of horsecrap.

You'd think they'd find SOME shred of dignity and either resign en masse or call an election.

well the I.M.F will be looking deeply into the banks and government. I wonder what other niceties they will find hidden in the corruption ?.

Fianna Fail will not go until you put them all in an enclosed room and disinfect them like cockroaches even then you might get one blagard scurrying off un-noticed to get away. but I am sure of one thing and that is the I.M.F after their inner investigation of the banks and this government will be themselves shocked at the corruption that they see and therfore will probably keep it underwraps because if they released their findings to the public we would all have a heart attack at the same time.

    ireland lol what a country.

check out the 94-97 rainbow coalition.

    introduction of free fee
    surplus deficit
    economic growth
    rising employment

In Ruairi Quinn we had the best minister for finance in a generation.

Shame they made a mess of it, in Government 7 years earlier.

Ray McSharry enabled that situation that they take credit for, he made it an easy job. despite Haughey and FF parochial politics.

We need a Minister that will do what McSharry did and tbh, I don't see a politician, of any party, of that calibre in this current Dail. I fear we'll be lauding IMF/EU officials in 20 years time, not Irish politicians.
