    Rather than am intended recovery run this morning of 4 miles, I found out I had to be home earlier, so 3 faster miles instead. Pace of 8'30. Legs were fine actually.

    Great half time! Interesting the point you make about mental blocks and wanting to stop during a race... I've had a couple of those, the worst of which was with about 400 metres to go in a 5k :eek:

    Well done on the sub 1:45 :)

    16 mile Lsr in the park today in 2'32.

    Did 7 on my own before I had Shaz''s lovely company for the next 9. Lovely morning for a run and really enjoyed this one. Legs were tired a few times but we soldiered on.

    7 miles this am pace 9'12
    Beautiful morning, quite breezy on the way home. Legs felt tired for the last mile or so, but I'm really enjoying running at the moment.

    6 miles this morning, pace 8'58
    SLuggish to begin with but had to speed up as I have to be home by a certain time.
    The pressure!

    Enjoyed this run, felt strong. Lots of runners out this am, none of them made eye contact, I don't get that!

    I know it's unreal the amounf of poeple that look the other way or down at the ground. Don't know why either.
