Lights up in the mountains

Was driving up towards Tallaght from Templeogue and noticed a very bright White light and what looked like a Garda blue light . Seemed to be coming from around edmondstown or around there. It must have been very strong if I could see it from here. Any know what it was about?

Possibly Bicycles - modern lights for offroad are extremely powerful and can be seen from miles away.
