Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Spotted this on Elara, €476.74 but you get €90 rebate if you claim within 30 days. Specs look ok. Same model on Dabs.ie for €578.94.

    Thoughts on this??

It looks alright to me.. I've a HP G60 laptop at the minute that I've been thinking of upgrading and the price to spec on this seems pretty good?

looks great price for the spec, does it include VAT?

wait till after Xmas all will be cheaper.

That is a very very good price.

This has a hdmi out which supports sound over hdmi, an alright processor, webcam, 3gigs of ram, Windows 7 professional and a 500gig hard-drive...

Even in the January sales this would be a tough enough price to beat.

On the elara page, the price after cashback is part of a hyperlink to HP's own site explaining it.

Keep an eye on the first link. When I posted this there were over 600 units in stock. I originally found this while searching for a laptop for a friend. She went to order yesterday morning and zero in stock. I just happened to check it later in the afternoon and stock was back up to over 600. She managed to order 3 and within minutes it went back to zero. I contacted Elara who informed me that a large client was "holding" them. So maybe worth checking the odd time.

Well it's back in stock, but they've upp'd the price of it now by over €100.

    Hurray, a bargain no more

you should stay away from HP.
Google HP NVIDIA class action or HP motherboard failure and see for yourselves.

€394 is good, You have to wonder what elara have been doing though.

Prices are going all over the place

Are you looking at the after rebate price before? It was never that low.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,890 ✭✭✭Effluo

    Naw, I was certain.

That's why I made a point of it

    Edit:
Just to make it clear, the price a few days ago was 376 after rebate, it then went out of stock, then came back into stock at a price of around 480+ after rebate and then went down again.
