We're hearing a fee has been agreed and Connor Wickham is heading up to Newcastle for talks but that's not been confirmed.

If true it will be a very nice signing.

Carroll is £1million more expensive than David Villa. £8 million more expensive than Edin Dzeko who is a far superior player. Or another way of looking at it on transfer fees, Rafael Van Der Vaart + Mesut Ozil + Sami Khedira + Javier Hernandez = Andy Carroll.
