Fernando Torres says negotiations between #CFC and #LFC had been going for almost two weeks
So much for the theory he dropped Liverpool in it looks like it was going on a good while -from Ben Smith

given is good a great professional but the fact is that hart is better, and thats why he is in the team.

Hart is a much better option for City, he's already a better goalie for one and he could be their keeper for the best part of 15 years.

They both seem like very good deals if they are both starters alright.Sessegnon is a central player isn't he? Bruce is hardly going to drop Cattermole and Henderson to play Muntair and Sessegnon. I mean Cattermole should be dropped because he's just not very good but he's captain so it's not going to happen.

Sessegnon can play left, right or in the middle but he favours playing wide. He'll probably take up a role playing off Gyan until Cattermole is fit and our midfield and strike force when everyone's fit will be:
    Henderson Muntari Cattermole

    Sessegnon
    Welbeck

    Gyan

Do you not rate Cattermole? He's actually quite good IMO and seems to be underrated because of his disciplinary record. We're a much better side with him playing.

He's a decent footballer, but if Sunderland do manage to mae the Europa League next year or even just miss out on it he's someone they should be looking to replace. Decent player but limited. also as you say his disciplary record is pretty poor. It's all well and good getting fired up for games, but as captain you need to lead by example and to do that you need to be on the pitch, not sitting in the stands serving a three game ban.

Read the quote again. He said "a hell of a lot better".

It's fine to say you'd have Given as a starter. Thankfully Mancini disagrees, but to say the above however is just plain stupid because there isn't that much between them no matter what side of the fence you sit on (unless the green goggles are on of course).

Andy Carroll was ordered to live with Kevin Nolan. Is he going to commute now?

Is it true that Mike Ashley has been asked to appear in the next series of The Real Hustle?

£50m for a player that is injured more often than not is bad business while £35m for a player that has had a couple of good months is also bad business.

Muntari and Sessegnon to Sunderland was also excellent business, considering Muntari's deal can be made permanent for €7m and Sessegnon's deal is permanent for £6m.

I'm tipping Sessegnon to be good and suarez to be a complete flop.
Muntari should be a good signing too.
