Touch of Death 2 [SSF4 2v2 tournament] - Saturday 27th November

Last Saturday of the month means another team tournament in the Xtreme Gaming Centre (Liffey St., Dublin - near the Ha'penny bridge, on the Northside). Going to start signups at 12, and the tournament will begin at 1.

Entry will be €15 per team, with 10 euro of that going to the prize pool.

The tournament is double elimination with character lock, though you don't have to choose your character until you play your first game in the first round - if your teammate OCVs the other team, you'll have to announce your character before your next match. Members of the same team can't use the same character.

Both PS3 and 360 will be used, though by default most matches will be played on PS3 as it's far less laggy - any 360 pad players can have their matches played on 360 instead, but that's it.

Lads, just FYI. There is a massive protest arranged for this Saturday in town. Just think people should be ware of this if they are planning on going in.

Approx 80,000 people plus Chunkis are expected.

Indeed. I'd be interested in going to this as teams are my thing....but I think the timing of it could be a bit better. Perhaps postpone to a weekend thats less chaotic?
