Not sure where to ask this so please move if it's in the wrong place.
At this time of year we all bring in firewood for that open fire or stove,
I have gotten various bags from different people as usual creepy crawlies etc but dont mind them. But recently after a trip abroad i saw what WOODWORM can do to a house. Furniture, structural woodwork, all turned to saw dust. Is it a possibility we could be bringing woodworm into our homes without realising? Are woodworm a problem here in ireland? Or am i safe enough. I normally bring a bag or 2 and sit the wood on a wood holder and around the wooden fireplace.
