apologies for the delay getting back to you - I have been away (for work unfortunately) for the last few days.

There are several differences between the Monitor Audio Vector & the Boston XSB 5.1 kits. The main difference is that the satellites are much smaller on the Boston kit

The Boston satellites are just 108*113*94mm whilst the Vector V10 Satellite is 235 * 145 * 170 mm.

The Bostons come with brackets (and the Boston fit really neatly into corners as well). The Monitor Satellites are much larger and produce significantly better bass but the overall sound is really well integrated with both systems - the Monitor does go lower in Bass terms however and the Tope end is also slightly better.

It's a pretty simple choice in my view - if pure audio quality is your aim then I would go for the Vectors - however if you are under pressure on space or if appearance is important - then the Bostons really are the way to go as they look pretty amazing and also sound great!

The both come in Black or White and the Monitors also come with a walnut facia if required,

I'm not sure what you mean by the big advantage of the BX2 over the 5.1 - if you are talking about the BX AV10 pack over the Vector or Boston pack - there really is no comparison in performance terms (to be fair - it's the same in price terms ) The BX AV10 uses full size bookshelf speakers and a dedicated centre allied to a large subwoofer and if you went with the BX FX dedicated rear option you really have a great bi/dipole option as well.

Keep me pointed if you need further details or if I have not got the correct end of the stick,

Apologies for the delay getting back to you - the TXSR508 and the Vectors are available in black no problem - but the 508 does not upconvert to output all outputs via HDMI - the AVR1911 does if you are looking for a deal!

I'm thinking of the Denon 1911. When comparing it to the Onkyo 608, one difference that stood out is:-

Multiroom Zone 2 - active/passive Powered Zone 2 (5.1)
