Tienda e-commerce for Joomla - opinions anyone?!

    It appears to be still in beta (it's version 0.6.0 - a version >=1.0 is better).

    How about VirtueMart, also a Joomla extension?
    VirtueMart has 630 extensions in the Joomla Extensions Directory! That's quite an endorsement in my book.

    PS I have not used either Tienda or VirtueMart.

    I've used Virtuemart dozens of times and I'm happy enough with it, aside from its relatively rigid layout which is difficult to style. Tienda seems to be more geared towards customising layouts with overrides and CSS.

    I realise it's still in beta which is why I'm asking if anyone has had any experience with it.
