Looking to get cotton wool for our newborn. They used to have big rolls of it in Tesco last year. No sign of it now though. Anyone got any suggestions on alternative shops that sell it in bulk or just in big rolls as those small bags don't last peeing time.

We used cotton wool balls which was probably more economical as we never used too much!

Most pharmacy's should do rolls of cotton wool

Dunnes do the big rolls - they have an own brand one that works out very cheap. I haven't seen them in Tesco, just the balls and wads.

I read in a magazine that if you put cotton wool in the hot press for a few days it doubles in size. I have no idea if it works or not but might be worth a try,

Tesco does cotton wool pleeds for New borns.. there is a picture of a baby on it and they are by Irish breeze.. They were the best for me.. I still sometimes use them now even though we are nearly 8 months old. :D

got the big roll in Dunnes. excellent value for money. surely will last 5 times longer minimum than whats on offer inTesco. stuff looks great but the bag is full of air in fairness.

we just tear of pieces off and put them in a seperate bag so we're prepared for when we're changing. thanks all.
