future managerial fashion job vs tracking in australia

    hi folks !!!

    i have a huge problem , im a fashions sales assistant at the moment , but have been promised a future managerial position in another place with the same company that has yet to be opened , but are in talks to doing so the company im working in now is small but gradually growing and i can see it happening but , im due to back pack in australia in feb which may last for a year and then after we save up whilst we are there , well do it in asia .
    help dont know what to do???

    either miss out on a great opportunity to move up in the work chain or miss out on a life time experience ???????????????

    Go travelling while you can, if you stay at home, before you know it you'll have a car loan/mortgage/kids and travel will be a ''if only'' conversation down the pub with your mates in 10 years time.
    Won't you prefer to be having a ''remember the time we spent treking in Thailand/diving on the barrier reef in Oz etc''...conversation.
    When you come back from travelling you'll have a whole new part of your life to draw experience from, have never yet met a traveller who didn't benefit from travelling in their personal and professional life...but...beware...just when you think the travel bug has left you it rears it's head again and you're off on the next flight to south america or somewhere equally exotic! Beside's you'd never know.. fashion assistants are sometimes even found in places such as Paris, New York, Sydney....
