Hello, Any recommendations on a thorough DIY book, not one of the more basic ones - For instance I want to know about the different methods of attaching wood to brick/ concrete is there a book which would list the various options with pros and cons , weight considerations tools required etc. Cheers

Have seen a few 'Big book of DIY' type thing, but they aint cheap. I think you would get better advice (and free) asking here. Or even failing that google would give you something. If things change, rules, guidelines etc your book will be outdated, here will always be updating
