No worries Lornen, Urbansea and my self have been discussing the quality and standard of the sligo kebab joints across a few forums.

As for Susan, unless she gets a good dose of Brees and MacSharrys allocation its looking like shes gone.

    :(

Perhaps our own private kebab forum would be apt :P:P

Bugger, looks like Colreavy is storming off with a hefty sum of Bree's votes.

I've never even tried a kebab. I think I would explode!
I'm not one for sexism, but any girl who can get one of those down is a total BEAST!

    I certainly hope so.

Agreed Stew. Looks like Susan O'Keefe holds the future of a couple of people in her transfers. Would think Scanlon will get a huge transfer off MacSharry, putting him very close to Colreavy. Bated breadth time!

I hope that Marc got so many votes because he's from town, not necessarily Fianna Fail, and so Scanlon may be ignored from some of his votes.
A faint hope, but hope all the same.

Christ!!! I want to go to bed but cant. Looking forward to macsharry's transfers. It will Prob come down to Susan O' Keefe's transfers.

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,293 ✭✭✭✭Mint Sauce

Wonder what odds O'Keeffe and Colreavy leap froging McLoughlin for the last two seats.

Dont think the final transfers will be that kind.

If it came down to that,I'd fancy Colreavy. Plenty of people want to keep FF out,and would have put Colreavy ahead of Scanlon.

MacSharrys vote would be solid FF with most 2's going to Scanlon. Worrying times.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

I'm not so sure Sean if it was a FF vote or a town vote.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,917 ✭✭✭red sean

Urb. just Paschal Mooney say Scanlon could get 3000. wtf is happening???

Spoke to a mate in the midlands tonight and he said the count in Laois/Offaly is closed til morning, but 2 maybe 3 FF'ers could still make it. I now know why there called BIFFOs

Don't bet on anything in this election transfers can go all over the place. Anway it makes little difference the important thing is it looks nailed on for two FG seats, delighted to see macsharry out on his ear, trying to hang on daddies coattails really pisses me off and this goes for ALL parties - we have a system that reflects rotten boroughs. Macsharry senior came to my door and I told him apart from being of a sound mind and could not vote FF on these grounds, my MAIN REASON FOR NOT TOUCHING Macsharry was because I despise this kind of inherited seats politics. Scanlon at best has one more term in him he is one of the parish pump brigade and has nothing to offer, labour won't win a seat in this constituency and SF is just a fad - my god if they ever get into govt with the kind of lunatic ideas they have the country may as well close down (it will be closed down by the IMF anyway if that shower ever get near the ministerial seals). I think Colreavy will make it - he incidently topped the ludicrously inaccurate Boards.ie poll - what a load of old tosh that turned out to be. Did not reflect the electorate, simple as.

If they don't get MacSharry's count soon, I'm reckoning we'll be left until the morning on this one.

I don't think Perry will be elected until the 8th count, and McLouglin and Colreavy will be declared then without reaching quota as Scanlon will be too far behind.

Totally butting in here lads but, how in God's name does anyone finish a kebab from Zam Zams?! I've never attempted one, the big chips alone have me out for the count. I've seen toddlers smaller than Zam Zams kebabs! :pac:

If you can't manage the chips, never ever order the special kebab! Even I'd only manage about two of them.

It won't be if all those votes go to Scanlon.
Hope the count is in soon, they've been generally around this gap.

EVERYTHING It's a masterpiece of gluttony.

I don't think they'll be paying out on this anytime soon, I can see a recount in the air.

How long does a recount generally take?

Would this magical kebab come with your recommendation?
