They could end up adjorning before the night is out.

Might have to wait till morning for a result.

    I haven't mentioned food in ages :P

If they adjourn for the night I'm going to walk out to Castledargan myself and count them.

While ye are there, give the fellows in Ocean FM a slap for me please - They've been on ad-break for the last two count announcements.

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,293 ✭✭✭✭Mint Sauce

Its down to the last count and Susans allocation.

Few uncertain things about O'Keefe transfers:
1 No formal pact with FG (no big transfer to them)
2 Female vote (would have gone to Cawley)
3 Location close to Ballymote. (transfer could go to Scanlon and Perry)
4 Middle ground rather than left. (transfer to FG instead of SF)
    Going to be interesting!

They're reckoning 2-1 ratio of transfers in favour for Colreavy over Scanlon, if that's true, Colreavy will get it.

It'll be the most hard earned win I'll have ever had in the bookies if it comes in.
    Fingers crossed

Based on the length of time it took other counts and the number to be counted here, gonna guess around 2 o'clock we should know,if not between 1.50 and 2

Well, Ocean FM will probably be on ad-break from around 01:40 to 01:43, so I expect the results at around 01:41

Took about 1 hr and 10 minutes last time, more votes this time. I think the 01.50 to 2,unless they go slower to ensure that it's right since it's so close.

I think its been great vote management by FG - doesn't really matter where the pinko protest vote went or whether an FFer slipped in, irrelevant really two goverment TDs and one opposition TD who will be unable to do anything, I suppose the Shinner will be able to complain about the injustice of taking the social welfare fraudsters out of living in the lap of luxury. Welfare to work plan - that should encourage a bit of emmigration by the lazy ones who won't work. Thats the problem with our disastrous emmigration - the ones who want to work come ofl social welfare and go and do something - those that don't stay on the dole here and get their rents paid toboot.

Yes, I have to hand it to whoever devised their strategy here, got it as close to the money as could be expected. Not so enthusiastic that we've finally kicked out the centre-right party that screwed the country by replacing it with a centre-right party that'll probably continue to screw the country.
