Played up to level 5, pretty fantastic so far.
I was disappointed when it did open on the scale of the train in Uncharted 2, but as soon as thatbar brawlkicked off I knew there was no reason to doubt Naughty Dog
It's the little details that make it stand out: the animation, or a small gesture that add to the immersion. No other game has got it nearly so right.
That said, when you fail it's often very obvious that you're just running through a predetermined script. But who cares when the script is so awesome :P0 -

Just picked mine up in dundrum. Went to HMV to trade in Dark Souls and was told that I need the bloody art book that came with it. Think they were offering €37 for it but they wouldn't take my copy. Went up to game and it was €55 up there. :eek: I went in and asked how much they'd give me for uncharted. They said they were offering a trade in value of €49.99 :eek: and they also had an offer where you can get Uncharted 3 for 99c with my trade in. I think the guy thought I was throwing my copy of Dark souls at him, it left my hand so fast. Crazy. Didn't think I would get €50 for it and then only have to cough up 99c for Uncharted3.
:D:D That's my night sorted.
I asked how many of the special editions they had. He said that they had none today but they might have some tomorrow when people realise it's €65 for them. He even recommended to me to come back down tomorrow and see if there was some. I would be able to trade in my copy of Uncharted 3 for €50 too.0 -

I went to buy my copy today in Waterford. I tried 2 different Tesco's and they did not have any on the shelf. The guy checked the system and it was on it priced at €44.95. He said they didn't come in today. WTF :eek:.
I'm gonna wait till tomorrow and see if they have them. They have it in Gamestop for €54.99

Yeah, I saw the same list as you have there. On the notice as you come in. He said that Dark Souls wasn't advertised as being one of them but it works. Dark Souls was never on the list though so the person working may have made a mistake...
Ace Combat is a bit of an odd one.
After playing it for a couple of hours there. In theLondon Underground, fighting my way out of it.Something does indeed feel off with the aiming. Cant quit put my finger on it. Some of the jumping animation doesn't really blend too well, something Uncharted has become synonymous with, imo.0 -
