Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The morning sunshine and blue skies were tremendous:

Caught sight of the cows emerging from their morning milking. They are probably wondering where the grass is:

Nice shots :) Do you do any post-processing? Can't help thinking they need a boost of light and contrast.

    only new to this forum.

Any tips or advise is welcome

    Two night shots using Lumix FZ100. A- 2.8, S-15

(first night time ones and first long exposure shots)
i never relised the amount of light frost actually reflected.

hope there not too big for the forum

Again, they could do with a boost of fill light. Any post processing programs at your disposal? I see what appears to be hot pixels too?

Haven't done anything with them straight from the camera, i think they look good as they are, what would they look like with the post processing?

nothing at home, in work we have photoshop, other than that only iphoto for the mac.

Found out what that green thing is, dont thinks it a hot pixel, it a wind spinner thingy and the two other white lights are solar lights for the garden (should have taken them up). how bright would you make them, should i let the shutter get 60seconds worth of light.

Also any tips on using the camera in cold weather i found that the camera got condensated when i came in to the house - cant be good for the lense or the camera

You could try to put the camera in a plastic bag before you bring it outside, and then leave it outside or somewhere cooler to let it adjust to the change in temperature, that way it shouldn't get all condensated as the change in temperature won't be as drastic.

I meant the white speckles I see around the image, little tiny dots?

60 seconds would brighten it up a bit yeah, I dunno, it just seems a bit dark, I can see what you're getting at. I find fill light in Lightroom a marvel, I often get same probs with long exposures, they often need a boost in post processing. There are free programs , like Gimp, out there you might want to look into :)

Bluestripe93: Again, not downing your images whatsoever, I like them, I just think they're a little dark. Post processing could lift them light-wise, and add a little contrast so they're not as 'flat' if you get me? I know this isn't a C&C thread, so sorry, just thought it was valuable advice :) You're doing good as is.

Wrong, think you should get to specsavers, as I didn't mean the obvious ones in the sky. Unless you get stars in gardens? in the snow? What it is more likely to be is the sparkle from the snow and ice.
